Altered Sky!
Scottish band Altered Sky is a female-fronted pop rock group that demand your attention with their high energy stage performances and infectious songs! If you've not heard of them yet, do yourself a favour and check them out now. They formed in 2010 and have been going from strength to strength, supporting impressive acts such as We are the In Crowd, Neck Deep, State Champs and The Wonder Years! Lead singer Ana Nowosielska turns out to be a huge fan of T.U.K. Shoes, so we caught up with her to bombard her with questions and to find out what's in store for Altered Sky!

How long have you been a band?
Lucky number 6 actually! 6 Years…ok… wow… o,O
Who are your influences?
Mallory Knox, Avril Lavigne, Escape The Fate, Nobuo Uematsu, Akira Yamaoka
You’re a big fan of T.U.K. Shoes, which we obviously love..tell us what was your first ever pair?
The AV8848L Black and white polka dot boots! So COOL.
How did you guys come up with the name Altered Sky?
We eventually agreed on it when we combined a few other names. I was adamant that we have the word “Sky” in there somewhere
If you could tour with any band who would it be and why?
Would LOVE to tour with Young Guns, PVRIS or Our Last Night! They look fun.
How did you become involved in music?
From a very young age I was involved in theatrical acting. It wasn’t for me so I began playing the piano instead and LOVED writing songs and short tunes. From then on I knew I wanted to play music and perform live.
What would be your ultimate top 3 festival headliners from any band be (past or present)?
Panic! at the Disco, Slipknot and X Japan!
Do you ever get stage fright? If yes, how do you combat this?
When our intro plays and everyone walks on to the stage, my heart starts to beat faster and my hands start to shake. The second I run on and join everyone else on stage it’s game on and the nerves just disappear!
Are you superstitious if so, how? (i.e lucky pants or anything like that) 
I always try to wear my key blade necklace on tour for luck. Feels weird without it …
What’s in store for you this year?
Ana: We have two new music videos from our debut album coming out. We are playing an acoustic set in all of the PULP stores across the UK in July and October, touring our live show in August and we also have a massive Glasgow headline show at the Garage on 15th October! Oh and writing our next album...
US: Just a few things then! Sounds hectic but we can't wait to see what you write.
So many people dream of being in a band and touring. What advice would you give to anyone looking to start up a band?
Don’t give up, don’t be disheartened, don’t let anyone or anything hold you back from what you want to achieve! Walt Disney said “All of our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them!”
What's better, Jurassic Park or Walking Dead?
Jurassic Park!!! Dinosaurs are cute
If you could have any super power what would it be?
A rewind power like in Life is Strange! That would be awesome. #maxcaulfieldforever
We see you're working closely with PULP at the moment, which is fantastic. How did you get hooked up with them?
The directors of PULP loved what the band were doing and loved our image. We’re always in store buying our tour clothes and outfits! It was a relationship dying to happen really

What do you watch/listen to whilst you're touring?
Any Disney films are always good If we can get the guys away from having a Fifa tournament, Amy and will play as much Sonic the Hedgehog as possible!
What do you prefer, a gig or a festival?
I'm totally cool with either. As long as there is space to jump and rock out ... I'm there!
Altered Sky released their self funded debut album 'Without Wonderland' which received 4 Ks from Kerrang! This is available on itunes and you can check their tour dates to see if they'll be lighting up a stage near you.
If you've taken some wardrobe inspiration from Ana, then you can steal her style with a pair of classic Leopard print creepers, turquoise suede creepers or Ana's latest addition to the collection is the black suede monster lug creepers she was rocking in the shoot for their new video! We can't wait to see it!
